About Me
Hi, I live with my husband who is an engineer and my son who is a lighting technician. We have a dog, a cat, chickens and fish in a covered pond. We are all involved in Scouts and love spending time outdoors.
My Experience
I have been childminding since 2008 and have looked after children aged from 9 months up to 11 years. On Thursday evenings I volunteer as an Assistant Beaver Scout Leader, where I help to provide a range of activities for 24 children. We also have Sleepovers and camps that we take them on.
In the past I have also helped the local church with activities for young children.
I have had experience of children with special educational needs such as speech problems, dyslexia, autism & a.d.h.d. and have helped them to understand how everyone is different and that we all have our stengths.
My Qualifications
A full level 3 Diploma in Home-based Childcare Grade A
Paediatric First Aid
Safeguarding
Observation, Assessment & Planning Workshop
Communication & Language Workshop
Intro to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder
In the past I was also a trained car seat fitter
My Availability
I drop off & pick up from Joydens Wood infants and junior schools. My normal hours are between 7:00 am and 9:00 am, 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm Monday to Friday except Thursdays which is 3:00 pm to 4:15 pm. I currently have before and after school vacancies but it is best to contact me with your requirements.
