About Me
I live in Buckley with my husband Andy and our 2 children Leah and Keiran. My husband assists me with the day to day running of the business which also includes driving our vehicle. The local schools that I cover are Mountain Lane, Southdown and Westwood, I also cover playgroups. I have a beagle called Scooby and a puggle called Oscar
I live in a cul-de-sac location and have fitted CCTV to my property for additional security. I have a downstairs toilet. I have an enclosed secure rear beck garden with lots of play equipment for all different age groups. I have many different activities to do within my playroom including craft, music, jigsaws and story time. The parks are only a short walk away. Although we do have the use of a car, I do believe that it is good for children to walk and it is encouraged as part of their development.
Within my environment every child is made to feel like an individual. They are made welcomed, safe and secure.
My Experience
I have been childminding for over 14 years now, I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience from this. I also have two children of my own Leah who is now 19 and keiran is 15. I have several nieces and nephews that I have helped care for in the past. I also have experience of working in a local nursery for a sort period prior to becoming a childminder. I try to assist within the school and playgroup environments as much as I can.
My Qualifications
I have successfully completed the Childminding Course and have a CSSIW Certificate of Registration. I have also attended a Paediatric First Aid course and I have a Food Hygiene qualification. I am also a member of PACEY (formerly the NCMA). I have also completed Road Safety Awareness Training through Flintshire county council
My Availability
I can care for up to 6 children at any one time. Please contact me regarding availability as spaces do have a tendency to come and go.
My opening times are 08.00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
Earlier/later times are available upon request
