About Me
Hello, my name is Carly and I am an Ofsted registered child minder. I have been working as a child minder for 6 years and I am a member of PACEY and a local child minding group. I am an Accredited Network Child minder. I work alongside my mum, Sue, whom is also an Ofsted Registered child minder of 18 years. Together we hold many years experience, which enables us to plan and meet the needs of each individual child, following their interests, and adapting all activities to meet their individual learning styles.
I am currently in the process of completing a Foundation Degree in Early Years.
I am happy to claim 3 and 4 year old government funding and child care voucher schemes.
My Experience
Being mum to two children, aged 4 and 7 years, has given me hands on experience. It was after having my daughter, I realised how enjoyable working with children is. This was when I decided I would complete the Introduction to Child minding practice. I became registered in 2008 and have enjoyed every minute of child minding since. Helping children to thrive in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere is what my setting is all about.
Since starting my Foundation Degree in Early Years, I feel I have a better understanding of children's learning and development and I have enjoyed implementing this knowledge into my practice.

My Availability
I am available to child mind Monday to Friday 7.30am - 6pm but please contact me if you require hours outside of these as I can be flexible.
I am happy to provide full and part time child care. I also provide before and after school and holiday care.
I currently drop off and pick up from local schools, these include, Queens Crescent Primary School, Chippenham, St Marys RC School, Chippenham and Heywood Prep Nursery School, Corsham
