I am a 28 year old qualified Nanny.
With a large connection to other nannies and childminders throughout Surrey, I attend a lot of playdates and relevant age appropriate groups. I'd describe myself as a hardworking, friendly, outgoing person.
I have completed a St Johns Paediatric First Aid course, this has expired but I am willing to retrain if needed. I also have a full UK clean driving licence with my own business car insurance. References are available on request
My Experience
After qualifying in Childcare Level 3 I have had experience working full time in a nursery with ages 5 months to 5 years, I loved my time working in the nursery and it helped me gain first hand experience when I was fresh out of college, I worked there for 4 years. After this I became a full time nanny for a 4 year old and his sister who was 8 months at the time I started, my role here included sole charge of both children, drop off and pick up from preschool and enjoying age appropriate groups and playdates. This job also included light house work. I worked with this family for 2 years until I went off travelling the world in January 2017, I completed a round the world trip including 6 months in Australia where I worked in 2 different nurseries!
After coming home from travelling I started a new job with a family of 3 boys. Including a 6 year old and 18 month old twins - I stayed with this family for 2 years, until I went on maternity leave (early because of covid) in March
My Qualifications
I received my Childcare Level 3 Diploma in 2012. During this time I also completed 3 placements including a school, preschool and nursery, meaning I have experience with all age ranges. This qualification included areas such as; Play and Learn in children's education, Working with babies from birth to 12 months and promoting a healthy environment for children.
