About Me

I am a warm, reliable, and fun nanny, currently looking for ad hoc evening and weekend babysitting.

I adore working with children and young people as demonstrated by my considerable experience caring for children and young people in many different capacities. Due to my experience working with children in a children's home, as an activity co-ordinator at a summer school, recreational gymnastics coach and nursery teacher, I understand what children of different ages like to do for fun and enjoy offering that to them.

I hold a bachelors degree in psychology, masters degree in clinical psychology a foundation in counselling and psychotherapy and I am currently completing my diploma in counselling. I therefore possess a wealth of knowledge in childhood development, mental health and wellbeing, and learning difficulties. I also have first-aid training, a DBS certificate, and a clean drivers licence.

I take pride in being an extremely loving and caring person, who takes the time to make all children feel seen, heard, happy, and safe. I am also very patient and have a strong understanding of boundary setting and how important it is to communicate and maintain healthy boundaries with children in order for them to maintain a sense of safety, routine, and positive behaviour, without the need to be overly strict.

I thoroughly enjoy being in the outdoors, cooking nutritious and delicious meals, getting creative with music, arts and crafts, reading stories, and supporting children and young people through challenges, including those related to their mental and emotional health and education.
