About Me
I’m 26 years old and currently live in pumpherston, Livingston. I do not have a childminding qualification etc however I have worked with children previously and I currently have an active PVG for working with vulnerable children and adults. I am looking to make a little extra money outside my full time job to try and save for a house.
I enjoy spending time with my animals (I have 3 dogs and 2 cats!), my partner, my friends and of course my family. I will finish work at 5pm weekdays therefore I will be available 6:00pm onwards and could be available most weekends if I have nothing on.
I don’t have children of my own however my friends have children who I enjoy spending time with and watching grow! :)
My Experience
I have worked with children previously through my old high school. I worked at the Friday night project, which was run by deans high school. During this, I offered help to children who needed it, and also supervised the children throughout the night. I found in fun to interact with all the children and help them with their problems. I have also had experience working at Seafield Primary School. During this experience, I again supervised children during their lunch and beaks, and made sure that they had everything that they needed.
I currently work full-time with CIC who pride in supporting those with learning disabilities and physical disabilities.
I previously briefly worked with children with chronic illnesses within RHCYP in Edinburgh.
My Qualifications
I am not qualified in childcare, however I don't feel that it is necessary. I am good with children as I am a young adult myself, and get on with them very well. I have a BA Honours degree in Business Management.
My Availability
I am available to work weekdays anytime after 6:00pm -11:30pm/12:00am.
I could also work in the morning before school from 6am - 9am (school run included).
Occasionally Saturday & Sunday anytime from 8am.
