About Me
Hello my name is Tilly and I run Tilly’s Tots childminding service. I live in the Stockport area (Marple Bridge) with my 7 year old son.
I hold a Diploma in children's care, learning and development, have undertaken the relevant childminding training and hold a BA Hons degree in Early Years with Liverpool john Moores University. I became an OFSTED registered childminder in June 2015. I childmind from my own home which is a safe, comfortable and clean environment where can play with a vast selection of toys and play equipment, we have a garden too with a variety of outdoor toys. I was rated GOOD by OFSTED in 2018.
We spend a lot of time learning and exploring outdoors and take lots of trips to local places such as farms, parks and libraries.
I use the early years foundation stage to track, monitor and plan for each individual child's development and I will regularly keep you updated on this. I have lots of references available for any parent that requests them.

My Experience
Since leaving secondary school in 2006 I have done an extensive amount of voluntary and paid work in a variety of Early Years settings with children age 0-5 mainly and some work with 5-12 year olds, these settings include nurseries, preschools, and public and private primary schools. I went to university to study for my BA Hons degree in early years in the pursuit of a job within child protection and safeguarding, but these plans were put on hold and I became a childminder to allow me to be at home with my son. I enjoy my job very much and we love to welcome new children to our home!
My Qualifications
I hold the following qualifications:
Level 3 Diploma in Children's care, Learning and Development.
BA Honors degree in Early Years at Liverpool John Moore's University.
Registered as an OFSTED childminder following training and inspection.
Paediatric first aid training (updated every couple of years).
Safeguarding children training (also updated every couple of years).

Monday - Thursday 7.30am-6pm
Occasional weekends

I accept funded places for 2, 3 and 4 year olds and i also accept childcare vouchers.
