About Me
I am 27 years old and currently living in Aberbargoed South Wales with my husband. I have a BA Hons 2.2 in Early years Education and Development, I also hold a CACHE level 3 diploma in childcare and education.
I have been working with children since I became a casual babysitter at 13, however I am now a professional Nanny. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and their children. I am originally from Kidderminster and have a variety of experience in schools and nursery's from England and Wales.
My Experience
I've worked with children for over 8 years, ranging from babies to children up to twelve years of age, in a range of different settings.
I have had multiple placements during my training in college and university, including eight months in a Montessori nursery, observing and learning the Montessori methods.
I've also worked in two nursery's with children ranging from seven months to four years, working as a nursery nurse and as a one to one with a child with additional needs.
I have worked as a nanny for the last 6 years but my charges are now in school and I'm looking for a new challenge with a family seeking a dedicated and experienced nanny.
My Qualifications
I have extensive First aid training including Epi Pen training, my certificate is currently outdated but will be refreshed as soon as possible, Covid permitting and a DBS check
I have a BA Hons degree in Early years education and a CACHE Level 3 diploma in Childcare and Education
My Availability
My current availability is Tuesday and Thursday between 10am and 2pm and Saturday evenings

My Fees
- Nannying from £9.50 per hour (gross)
Pay is negotiable and I have no preference as to when I am paid, be it monthly or weekly.
Requirements to meet minimum wage are without question, my rates are currently £9.50 per hour

You will not find a more trust worthy, caring, amazing Nanny than Katie.
She has looked after our 2 children for the last 3 years our youngest is now 4 so will be starting school in September and so it is with a heavy heart we good bye to Katie.
During her time with us Katie, has supported with home schooling (due to covid and us both being keyworkers) homework, clubs. She has taught our youngest how to get himself dressed, cut veg, read, write his name, count. As well as helped our eldest learn to do her own hair and become more independent.
Katie is all round an amazing nanny who is amazingly adaptable and I can't recommend her enough.
