Hi my name is Helen I'm a Ofsted registered childminder I live with my husband, step son and daughter in the Winstanley area of Wigan.
My Experience
I have a wealth of childcare experience from Nursery Nursing, working in a children's home to Nannying with an amazing family for 10 years. I am DBS checked and have completed all the nescessary training. 1st aid, safeguarding and food hygiene.
I love looking after children and I am very passionate about offering high quality care. I understand how precious your child is to you and how hard it is leaving them to go to work each day so you need someone who you can trust and who your child is happy and safe with. I feel working with parents is a must and I aim to meet your every need.
My Qualifications
Btec and HNC in Early Childhood studies.
Nvq level 3 in childcare and adolescents.
1st aid trained
Level 2 food hygiene
Safeguarding certificate
My Availability
TERM TIME ONLY
I'm am available 5 days a week term time only. 7:30am to 5:30pm. During this time your child will be able to play with a wide range of toys and take part in an array of activities.. We will visit various play settings throughout the week from play groups, story times, song/dance groups, libraries, and parks to name but a few.

I cannot recommend Helen highly enough to anyone wanting a caring and experienced person to look after their child. She was my nanny from when I was 7 until when I was 17, I was a very shy child but after just a week or so I felt very comfortable with here and we remain in close contact. Helen was a more than adequate cook and even managed to get me to eat fruit and veg of my own accord! A really great childminder.
