About Me
I am married with 3 grown up daughters, all of whom are DBS checked. I regularly attend church and am involved with the 5-8 year old sessions of junior church. I am also a keen volunteer with the Pitshanger Community Association and have run two key youth projects over the past 8 years. I have run many fund raising events, to raise money and awareness of various community and international needs. I live in near Pitshanger Lane.
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder for 17 years and have seen many changes in the childcare sector. I am registered with OFSTED. I try to keep abreast of current thinking, practice and legislation for the under 5's and in primary education.
Over the years I have looked after many children, who have benefitted from being in a family environment, much like an extended family, where they are welcomed and nurtured. They have made great friends with other children in the setting, some of which have continued well into secondary school.
The children enjoy lots of crafts, activities and outings e.g. toddler groups, parks (local and further afield like Kew, Dukes Meadow), library, local and national attractions.
My aim is to facilitate parents going back to work and the children entering my childcare setting, to make the transition as seamless as possible. Following on from that, to continue to support the families while providing stimulating opportunities for the children, that encompass the 7 stages of development as outlined in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
I have many years of driving experience and my vehicle is insured for business use. However unless we are going further afield, I tend to walk to do the school run and to our activities.

My Availability
I work 5 days a week, from Monday to Friday. My core hours are 7am to 5.30pm, however if necessary I can be a little flexible.
I currently drop off and collect from Montpelier Nursery and Primary School.

My Fees
My fee is available on request and includes lunch, fruits and afternoon snacks. Parents with children under 1 will bring along suitable food. It also includes entrance fees to the various groups we attend.

Jenny looked after our child at very short notice and kept her safe, happy and occupied. She is very professional and kind. We wouldn't hesitate using her services again.
Overall
My 2 year old daughter has been going to Jenny's for just over a year since I returned to work and she adores Jenny and all her family and the other children. She does loads of activities and has learnt great social skills with Jenny. Jenny is wonderfully caring and welcoming and really knows how to communicate with children and make sure they are happy and having fun.

Jenny cared for and nurtured my daughter for 4 years and I did not hesitate in asking Jenny to do the same for my son when I returned to work following my maternity leave. I had complete peace of mind leaving my children with Jenny, as she treats all of the children with love and respect and she receives this back in abundance from not only the children in her care but also their families. Jenny welcomed us all into her home and her family and quickly became a dear friend to us. We were sad to leave London earlier this year, however, we remain in contact with Jenny and her family. We highly recommend Jenny as a childminder. She goes above and beyond to ensure that the children enjoy a wide variety of activities including trips to museums, the beach, etc. She

My five year old son has now been with Jenny for over a year. She provides wonderful care, it really is a home from home! Jenny provides exciting activities and trips for the children as well as comfort and care after school. My son is very happy which makes me a happy mum!
