My daughter started going to Christine when she was 2 years old. I was nervous leaving her with somebody other than family, but after meeting Christine for the first time it filled me with confidence that I was doing the right thing.
Christine had so much experience and a kind, calming manner. My daughter absolutely loved going to her, which really helped with the guilt of going to work.
Christine packs their day out with so much fun at home and also takes them to groups and the park etc. She is also flexible and accommodating which helped for our work.
3 years later, my daughter is at school but still gets excited for school holidays when she gets to go back and spend time with Christine. She's a wonderful lady who has become more than a childminder to our family.

Christine has looked after my daughter since 2016, she has been amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and Christine is so flexible to fit in with my working hours etc.
Christine has a lovely set up and the children I have seen there are always happy.
Christine provides a home from home facility which is always welcoming.
If my daughter wasn't growing up she wouldn't be leaving.
I would recommend Christine 100% to anyone looking for a new minder.

My daughter has been going to Christine for over a year and took us on really quickly after my last arrangement fell through. She is a lovely lady and my daughter loves her, she has always been really helpful and reliable. My daughter always has a really fun day with her and speaks about Christine everyday. We have unfortunately got to make other arrangements due to our own issues but hope to have Christine for school pick ups when my daughter starts school. Sad to be leaving :(

Christine has looked after our children (now 7 and 11 years old) for the last 4 years. She is a lovely lady - very caring, understanding and well organised - and the children have been really well looked after there. She provides a variety of activities for them including regular trips to the park, crafts and parties for special occasions such as Christmas/Easter/Halloween.
Christine is also really flexible, which has been a massive plus for us, given we both work full time. She took us on at a couple of days notice when our previous arrangements fell through, and has always accommodated our changing needs and last minute alterations - e.g., picking up the kids from after school clubs, ad hoc days during school holidays, inset days etc.
We are only now (reluctantly) moving on due to a change of schools, but the children have been very happy with her and I would highly recommend her to anyone else!

There's not much I can say apart from what a pleasure Christine has been.
I was dumped on her doorstep as my previous childminder went out of business so to speak. and without any doubt she took on my 2 year old. and then baby no 2. she puts in so much effort the children absolutely love her. she adheres to every need, extremely flexible and has such a lovely warming nature.
The environment is welcoming very educational and colourful. Highly recommend.

My daughter started going to Christine's when she was 6 months old and Christine has looked after her for 4 years. Chosing Christine was probably one fo the best decisions of our lives. Christine was very helpful through all the major milestones in her life, giving us advices on potty training, Nursery admissions, childcare, you name it and Christine would offer to help as much as she could. Christine is a very friendly person and makes you feel at home instantly which is very very helpful when you are leaving your 6-month-old to go back to work full time.
My daughter has grown into a very smart, confident, friendly and well behaved young girl under Christine. She loves Christine so much, she wants to spend even her weekends there. Christine takes her to various activities almost daily, looks after her and plays with her a lot more than either of us parents can. The other kids she cares about were also very well behaved and she got along well with them. The environment at her house is positive as well with kids having enough toys to play with and costumes for roleplay etc.
It was absolutely heart-breaking to move away from Royston because we were sad my daughter would no longer be going to her favourite childminder .Two months on, she still misses Christine and wants to go and meet her all the time.
If you are looking for a childminder for your kid, look no further, Christine is a great childminder and we as a family miss being near her.

Christine looked after my daughter Emma for a month between my other childcare arrangements and then for 5 months when I returned to work from maternity leave. Emma always looked forward to go to her, making life a lot easy for me. Emma loved the activities/parties (Halloween etc) arranged by Christine and the frequent park visits. My husband works long hours in London and I have to juggle between my family with two young children and a full-time work. Christine was very flexible with the hours and did her best to accommodate our needs, including giving Emma warm home-cooked tea (this was much appreciated as Emma has multiple allergies). Emma learned to play nicely with the other children at Christine's setting and was always happy when I picked her up.

Christine was one of the first people I met when I moved to Royston with my daughter who was ten at the time. It was a daunting time for both myself and my daughter who was feeling extremely anxious about moving to a new area, having to move school, make new friends and start attending a childminder. Christine invited me to go along to her house to meet with her and then to arrange for my daughter to visit on an informal basis before starting with her, she encouraged and reassured her that she would be fine and talked about other children close by that she would be able to meet and make friends with, she really was a god send in supporting her with the settling in process. Once settled in my daughter enjoyed her time with Christine who she went to after school and during school holidays, Christine has always been flexible working additional days and adhoc days when needed and has also been very supportive with late pick ups which happen from time to time.
For a while my daughter suffered substantially with issues which required medical help and was often sent home from school, during this time Christine was my absolute saviour, she would always offer support by collecting my daughter from school and taking care of her until I could get back, this was such a difficult time for both myself and my daughter and without Christine there to support I might not have had a job to go to! On more than one occasion Christine was in a situation where an ambulance was required so you can imagine my relief knowing I had her there to help keep my daughter safe and well and to take the necessary steps when dealing with an emergency situation!
If you are looking for a childminder you can depend on to support and care for your and your child then I strongly recommend Christine.

Christine looked after my little boy for nearly 6 years. I was really apprehensive about using a childminder back then, but thinking back I have never worried about leaving him there as I instantly warmed to her and the environment she provides.
He absolutely loves her and almost became part of her family and would regularly talk about her children (teenagers) who also treated him really well. When he didn't need to go to her in the summer holidays, he would ask when he was seeing Christine again because he missed her.
Christine is naturally very caring attentive, understanding and supportive. She celebrates all the children's achievements, and tells you when something good has happened and If my boy had had a bad day at school she would happily cheer him up and fill me in at the end of the day.
She takes the children out regularly and gets them doing arts and crafts as well. She has a play room with lots of different toys and also gets them in the garden in the summer. I've also known her to do little parties for them too! I found she accommodates for both the younger ones and the school children well and is perfectly situated for Roman way first school and Roysia middle school.
The hours and days I needed and his childcare needs changed as he grew and the years went on and there where times I had to ask her to cover extra hours and change things - Christine was always very flexible, accommodating and again supportive I can't lie there were times I really couldn't have lived without her!
I'm almost glad that although I don't need regular childcare I know there will be times I will need a little extra help, otherwise I would also be saying we where really going to miss her!
I can't thank Christine enough for all her help and for looking after my now not so little boy as well as she has!
I highly recommend her! :-)

I instantly warmed to Christine, it's like meeting someone new you just know that you'll get along with and will look after your child the way you would. She looks after my 7 year old and has even got my stubborn I don't like anyone 2 year old on board too. And that takes some doing as she is very particular!! Baby number 3 is due soon and in true fashion nothing is ever a problem and is on hand to provide extra hours at short notice if needed. Her home environment is really welcoming and gives you the feeling your child is in safe hands. She has a little play room with lots of toys that both my children bee lined for when we first visited and once in, I couldn't get them out! She takes the kids out at every opportunity, my 7 year old is always asking if she can go with Christine to the park even at weekends. If your looking for a childminder that gives you that gut instinct yep this feels right then Christine is your lady. I highly recommend her :-)
