About Me
My name is Jessica ball. I am 26 years old. I have currently completed a 2 year extended diploma course in Child Care and Education at Level 3 leaving with grade A. Prior to attending college to study such area I completed my GCSE's receiving all A*-C grades and also receiving grade A in child development. I have a real passion for caring and supporting children in a loving and secure environment. I love working with children ensuring they receive the best support in order to boost and exceed within development. A year ago I became an auntie to my gorgeous little niece, who I also live with. I care for her daily looking after her whilst her mum works, this includes providing all basic needs such as love, support, security, warmth, food and water. My main passion is working with the child to ensure they are thriving in the best way possible in order for them to meet all academic milestones. I like to provide fun and educational environments for children ensuring that they are happy and successful.
Whilst attending College I received a 'learners award' for most outstanding performance during 2015 nominated by all members of the child care department. This was presented through an awards evening style where by I received a certificate and also a prize.
I hold a clean full UK driving licence and have my own car.
My Experience
I have worked in many settings including;
Theydon bois primary school for 2 years in reception
St. Augustine's primary school
I have also looked after a young girl in the local school, for a few hours a night caring for her including providing her meals and helping with her school work
I also care and fully support my younger
brother who still attends primary school, this experience has allowed me to understand how to develop In order to support a child's development effectively.
I have currently worked in reception, year 1 and also worked alongside young babies of the ages 1-2 years old.
In June 2015 I become a part time nanny caring for a loving family looking after a 1 year old girl and twins of the age of 2
My sister has now just had a baby girl herself, I spend numerous amounts of time caring for my niece which has allowed me to adapt further skills supporting this age range.
In July 2016 I became a nanny to 2 young boys caring and supporting them also.

In February 2019 I joined flying start day nursery Chigwell as a Nursery Nurse, 2 months later I was promoted Deputy Manager at Flying Start Day Nursery Hainault (our sister branch) I absolutely loved this job tremendously as it gave me the opportunity to assist the Nursery Manager to provide professional leadership and management of the nursery and to help ensure that all children receive the highest standards of education and care. My time at Flying start was amazing and I have gained so much knowledge of how to manage a nursery setting.
I am now available to start a nannying full time/part time position as soon as possible.
My Qualifications
I have received 11 GCSE all A*-C including English, maths and science
I was also awarded grade A in my child development GCSE
Fully qualified level 3 in child care and education.
Fully qualified nursery nurse
Won learners award 2015 in child care and education receiving a certificate and prize at the college ceremony
I am also a qualified first aid paediatric, not only that but I have also been awarded with a qualification in sports leadership.
