About Me
I am 26 years old, i worked in a private nursery in the baby unit working with babies from 3 months old, i am reliable and hard-working and find being part of a child's everyday routine rewarding because they gain so much throughout the day and come out with new words all the time, I love praising them when they successfully complete an activity such as a jigsaw puzzle!
As my hobbies, I enjoy horse riding, although I haven't been riding for a long time now but want to get back into it, I enjoy swimming and usually go once a week in the evening. I like to go to 'zumba' which is a latin/american style fitness class which is always good fun as I enjoy dancing!.
I am fine with all animals and normal house pets such as cats and dogs, I have a cat myself and have grew up with all sorts of animals from cats and dogs to horses and sheep and also hamsters, gunea-pigs and rabbits.
I am willing to do any housework, including ironing, washing, hovering, polishing, making beds etc plus any errands, e.g.- shopping.
I now currently work as a full time nanny with a family in Redditch.
My Experience
I have over 10 years experience of working in a nursery. Also 1 year working as a student in a nursery and a school.
I also looked after a family of 4 children for a year, 2 nights a week with the eldest being 9 years old and the youngest at 2 weeks old.
My Qualifications
NVQ2 in childcare and education.
Diploma in child pyschology.
First aid trained
Sign along trained (people who use sign language)
Epi-pen trained (for people who use this for their allergies)
NVQ Level 3 Diploma in childcare and education.
