About Me
I have worked as a Primary School teacher for most of my working life but now plan to slow down and work part time. I am happily married and have 2 daughter's and 6 grandchildren, 3 girls and 3 boys, ranging in age from 1 - 14 years old. I look after them all on a regular basis and have them to stay as they live about 2 hours drive away from me. My interests are, walking, swimming, art, cooking and reading. I also enjoy days out and travelling and spending time with family and friends.
My Experience
I have worked with children all my life and was a full time Nanny before I became a teacher. As part of my role as a teacher, I have been kept up to date with first aid and child protection issues. I have a current DBS which is renewed every August. I regularly look after my 6 grandchildren, 3 girls and 3 boys, ranging in age from 1 - 14 years. I enjoy spending time with children, interacting with them and teaching them new skills, as I am cofident this helps to build their self esteem and their ability to enjoy life.

My Availability
I am generally available but better able to work on an ad hoc basis as I travel sometimes. I can also offer private tuition in Primary School subjects, especially help with Reading and Writing, though this is charged at a separate rate to childcare.
