I consider myself to be a self motivated, dedicated and professional individual who is able to adapt to any task that I undertake. I work well within a team and am also able to use my own initiative; communicate well on all levels with children, parents and colleagues.
I currently work as a cleaner at a local company, i also look after my mum who is disabled, cleaning and shopping etc.
In the past i have worked for a care company, cleaning for different people in their homes, hoovering, polishing, changing the bedding, mopping, plus anything else they needed doing.
I have worked in an office as Secretary/Admin Assistant for 15 years.
I also consider myself as a great time keeper, a people person, friendly, and can accommodate the different needs of employers.
I enjoy visiting cities and villages, to find out the history of places. Am a member of the National Trust, enjoy walking, beaches when I get the opportunity.
My Experience
I have worked as a nanny, and have over 10 years experience, and have worked for several different families. I was with my first family for 3 years as a live-in nanny in London. 2 boys, 4 and 2 years old.
My second nanny job was for a family in Hindley, Wigan. 2 boys, the eldest was 2 years old, the youngest 6 months old. I am still in contact with them and go to stay at there house.
I also travelled around the country, working as a nanny for a year.
I really enjoyed my time when I was looking after the children. My main duties were helping get the children up in the morning and getting them ready for nursery. I was taking them to school and nursery, looking after the baby during the day, feed/change him, picking up from nursery and looking after them while both parents were at work, by playing with them,and keeping them entertained. Cooking them tea, then bathing them and getting ready for bedtime, reading bedtime stories, if parents worked late.
I also look after a girl, pick her up from school, take home and cook tea for her and her brother. Look after till dad gets home from work.
We would do activities, such as days out, going to museums, going to different parks, drawing, painting, making cakes/baking, and reading. I am very considerate of people's needs. I consider myself reliable, honest and trustworthy.
