Need a reliable babysitter who is lots of fun, warm and caring? Someone who loves cooking or painting? Who can drive and arrange trips? Who can do funny puppet voices and read brilliant stories?
I'm a qualified Early Years Teacher with lots of professional childcare experience.
Currently working part-time while studying and available for ad-hoc babysitting roles.
My Experience
I've decades of experience babysitting for local families and friends' children from tiny to teens.
Throughout school and my college years, I worked as a babysitter for three local families and was a volunteer for 'Kangaroos' (a playgroup for children with special needs) and a social services play scheme at Ardingly College.
Additionally, I have experience working in nurseries and am a qualified early years teacher. My interaction skills are excellent and I deliver training in 'Respectful Care' as well as curriculum delivery.
I'm highly inclusive with great SEN experience. I led a highly popular playgroup service (Play & Learn Plus in Mid Sussex) for families with children with additional needs. My Makaton is a little rusty, but pretty good.
I've also experience working with vulnerable children and have supervised contacts for Children who are Looked After (fostered) or subject to Child Protection Plans.
My first aid training is due for renewal.
Can provide verbal and written references and am registered with the DBS 'Update Service'.
My Qualifications
I've a degree in English and Drama plus an Early Years Teacher qualification.
I'm fully DBS checked (Enhanced CRB clearance) and am qualified in Paediatric First Aid including using Epi-pens.
I am happy to show my certificates including all DBS checks.
My Availability
Currently have availability May to end July for regular 'Before School' in Portslade/Hove.
Available ad-hoc or regular evenings per week from 5pm til late.
Also available for occasional/weekend nannying/babysitting.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
Negotiable depending on frequency of work.
Typically, for breakfast/school drop of £15 per hour.
Otherwise £12 per hour.
Babysitting £40 for 4 hours
