About Me
My name is Chloe, I am 21 and am currently looking for babysitting opportunities in and around Ipswich.
I have experience working with children from birth to 18 years, with most of that experience being from 3 months to 5 years. I am currently the room leader of a baby room in a nursery.
I spent two years, from 2014 to 2016 , studying level 3 childcare at college, I then went on to work full time at the nursery I am still working at. Initially I was covering in all rooms, including the baby room, toddler room, preschool and out of school club. After a few months I was then offered a full time position in the toddler room of this nursery. I thoroughly enjoyed my time working in the toddler room and made the decision to further my education whilst continuing to work full time
In September 2017, I began my Foundation Degree in Early Years Practice, which I have now completed. During the time I was doing my Foundation Degree, the opportunity came up for me to become maternity cover for the baby room leader, I then took over as baby room leader full time once the person I was covering decided she was going to go into a new career path. I am really enjoying working in the baby room, however I also enjoy working with children of all ages. From September 2019 I am doing a BA(Hons) Degree in Early Childhood.
I am a hard-working person, I am a reliable and available a lot of the time and on short notice, if needed. I am committed and always do the best that I can do. I am flexible and can carry out a range of tasks.
My Experience
I am currently working in a private nursery for children aged 3 months to 11 years.
From September 2015 to May 2016 I did two days a week placement; this time was spent with children aged 0-2 and children aged 2-3. I developed my confidence through this experience as I am planning and implementing activities with children as a part of my observations.
From July 2014 to present I have been volunteering as often as possible, mainly through school holidays, at My local preschool. During this time I have developed my communication skills, through speaking and interacting with children, staff members and parents in the setting.
From October 2012 to present I babysit occasionally, this is mainly weekends however some evenings. I have experience in babysitting for a child who has Aspergers, I have worked closely with him and his family to provide care which would suit him.
My Qualifications
I am currently studying an early childhood degree at university.
I have completed a Level 3 Childcare Course at Suffolk New College. This involved completing assignments on a range of things to do with children, childcare, legislation, development etc. I also have done two years of placement, firstly in a school reception class and then in a private nursery.
At college, I also completed an extended research project, where I focuses on children who have Down Syndrome, and how this affects them and the support they may require.
I have also completed safeguarding training and am trained in Paediatric First Aid.
I have 10 GCSEs, 8 B grades, 1 A grade and 1 C grade. This includes child development and health and social care.
My Availability
I am available every evening and all weekend.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £7.00 per hour
My rates are open to discussion, however I usually charge £7 per hour before 10pm and £8 an hour after 10pm.
