About Me
My name is Linda, I'm 52 years old. I have two children, my son is 24 and my daughter is 28. My hobbies include face painting at children's Birthday parties and charity events, painting and artwork such as toy boxes,playhouses and bedroom walls. I own my own car and am a non smoker/drinker. I have worked with new-borns all the way up to teenage years for over 17 years and its a massive passion of mine. I believe that children teach us as adults something new every day which is part of why I enjoy what I do so much. I get on well with children of all ages and can work to you and your children's specific needs and requirements. I am extremely fun and outgoing but can also teach and open young minds in the correct manner. I will be willing to cook and do dinners ,bath and dress, clean ,entertain your children and take them out or simply watch over them etc.
My Experience
I began working at a private nursery in 1998-2004 with children from 3months up to 5 years. I went on to working at a nursery which was part of a Primary school for children aged 3-4 years from 2004-2013.I then moved up to reception class to see the transition from nursery children to their first year at primary school aged 4-5 years from 2013-2015.
I have also been trained to work with children with learning difficulties and special needs.
During this period of experience I also had the opportunity to work as a helper for dance and performance shows as a chaperone.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ 2 and NVQ 3 in Childcare. I am First aid trained including Paediatric.
My Availability
I will need at least a months notice. I will be available to work any days through the week Monday-Friday excluding weekends. I can work early mornings and also late evenings/nights. I'm happy to work throughout the summer holidays If needed. I am very flexible and am happy to bend to your requirements within reason.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
I charge £15 an hour but will negotiate depending on duties.

Linda has been our nanny for our 3-year-old son since September 2021. Her responsibilities have been to collect our son from nursery, feed him and his older brother, do the children’s laundry and walk our dog. Linda did all of this with ease and she would go above and help with other household tasks such as ironing. She was always on time, in fact early, and she gave such care and attention to our son. She would have activities and fun games to play and our son adores her. Her ability to play at length with our son is incredible. She makes everything a game and our son has such fun in the house and on outings with Linda. Our son is going to school in September and so we cannot offer the same hours and we will all be so sad to see Linda go. We trust Linda with our family and the next family will be so lucky to have her.
