My Summary

My Experience

I have been working with children for 8/9 years now, and have a younger sister so I have had a lot of practical experience at home too.
I first started working with children on my placements which I carried out when I was studying the BTEC National Level 3 Diploma in Child Care, Learning and Development, gaining experience with 0-7 year olds.
After I finished my Level 3 I travelled around Asia and Australia. I became a nanny in Australia to four children ages ranging from 14 months to 9 years old. I was a live-in nanny and although I was always busy I learnt so much from being at home with the children.
When I returned to the UK in 2013 I started working as a nursery nurse. When I started I was based in Pre-School and then I became based in baby room working with babies 3 months up. Now I am at university I have continued to work there as a cover staff, gaining valuable experience with all age groups. Continuing to work at the nursery while studying for my degree has helped me stay up to date with Early Years Foundation Stage and professional policies and procedures, such as safeguarding and paediatric first aid.

I am currently in my final year of a BA(Hons) in Early Childhood with Psychology at the University of Portsmouth and will be graduating this summer

My Availability

I am available Monday to Friday all day, hours can be discussed.

My Fees

• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My fees are £12-£15 an hour as I offer a lot of experience, knowledge (both practical and academic) and flexibility. I also will be Level 6 qualified when I complete my degree, have a valid paediatric first aid certificate and a clean DBS check. I have my own car which is suitable for children and a clean driving licence.
