About Me
I’m an Early Childhood teacher and career nanny from Spain working in West London.
I’m genuinely passionate about Early Years Education and child development, and I love planning and developing educational activities, projects as well as my own resources and materials. I love project-based learning approach, Montessori and hands-on activities such sensory play, crafts, baking and experiments. I have a deep understanding of how children develop and learn, their critic periods and the best stimulation and activities to provide at every stage to help them reach their full potential.
I also have a big interest for Nutrition and Child Nutrition that I like keeping updated and expand through books, talks, Internet research, online courses... I really enjoy cooking and being creative when it comes to children’s recipes.
My Experience
I have almost 10 years of experience working in private households and educational settings.
I have experience with children from 16 months old, twins and multiple children at the same time, I’ve worked as a nanny in East and West London. My longest position was as a sole charge, full time nanny looking after twin girls for 4 years.
I also have teaching experience from my internships in nurseries and preschools in Spain and I am familiar and I’ve worked with the EYFS to implement learning plans at home.
My Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education
- Bachelor Degree in Science of Education and Pedagogy
- Masters Degree in Perinatal Psychology: infant mental health, children psychopathology, early detection and intervention of potential problems/disorders like feeding and sleeping problems, learning difficulties, AHDH, autism, etc
- UK QTS - Qualified Teacher Status from the National College of Teaching and Leadership.
