About Me

I am Ofsted registered. I have worked across different age groups in the nursery setting and have experience caring for children to meet their needs to help individual achievement.
I have years of experience to help provide for a high standard of care and learning to meet the individual needs holistically where children are observed and I plan activities, provide resources to enhance and meet their needs to achieve and be where they should be.
Children are able to have access to the outdoor and indoor area respectively at Hiveday childcare to meet the EYFS requirement to improve their learning , bearing in mind the different ways individuals learn. We are not restricted only to the garden at home, we access beyond the garden and visit places of interest as the park, libraries, shops, children centres and more.
Hiveday aims to give parents the peace of mind they need when their child/ren are away from them and at the setting, knowing fully well that they are in good hands and a safe environment.
I prioritise both the need and welfare of the children and communicate with the parents/carers regularly as they are my partners and the first educator of their child/ren.
I have worked with external agencies in the past. Where necessary I will access help for an individual that requires one.
I have attained relevant courses to support my practices and continue to update my professional development.
Hiveday childcare Ofsted inspection was carried out in 2016 and graded 'MET' as at that time, there were no children in attendance but all relevant documents and provisions in place checked were up to standard.
