About Me
I am a 28 year old woman with 10 years of teacher training and full time teaching experience.
I live in Lancaster and currently teach in a school in Chorley so I am looking for something more local.
My hobbies are varied and vast! I enjoy sports of all types and many outdoor activities. Walking in the country has always been a passion of mine; I aim to walk the three peaks before I am 30. I am a member of the gym, have been a member of Morecambe hockey team, but with work commitments cannot re join at the moment. I cook lots of various and exciting dishes of the savoury kind and thoroughly enjoy baking as well - I link baking into many of my topics at school - I know children enjoy this very much! I read a lot of different types of books and feel I am well cultured, having travelled to many places, including New York. My most recent holiday was camping in the South of Scotland with a lot of miles walked throughout that time away. I play two instruments; the harmonica and the flute and enjoy singing as well. In spare time, I sketch fine art - mainly animals and plants but sometimes turn my hand to sketching people as well and scenic views.

Full time Primary School Teacher:
2009 - 2010: 1 term full time teaching year 1 (5 and 6 year olds) 2 terms full time teaching year 4 (8 and 9 year olds).
2010 - 2013: Three years full time teaching year 5 (9 and 10 year olds).
2013 - April 2014: Full time Year 3 teacher (7 and 8 year olds).
April 2014 - February 2015: Cover teacher across the Curriculum (Year Reception up to Year 6).
February 2015 - August 2015: Year 4 Teacher (full time).
Present: Key Stage Two cover teacher (Year 3 to Year 6)
March 2014 - Present: Private tutor on weekday evenings ages 5 - 15
My Qualifications
8 GCSE A - C including grade A in Art and Design.
4 A Levels Grade B
2:1 Degree: BA (Hons) Primary Education with English.
I can play up to grade 5 flute.
I play the harmonica.
My Availability
Currently available Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings.
