My Experience

I have been an au pair in Australia for 5 months in 2014. I was looking after a 7 years old girl and a 12 years old boy. I used to do overnight as well because the mom was working away and wasn't coming back home for 3 days.
I have also been an au pair in 3 families in Wales in 2015/2016 so I have experiences of helping around the house not just with the children such as cooking, cleaning, tidying, doing the laundry, ironing, ...

I do have experience with newborns as I used to babysit my neighbors' daughters (from the birth of the first one until she was 4 years old and her newborn sister).

I worked in a daycare center for two summers (2013 and 2015). I was in charge of groups of 8 children at a time from 3 to 5 years old or groups of 12 children at a time from 6 to 12 years old depending on the weeks. I was making crafts, going on trips, going camping, playing inside/outside. It requires to be very flexible.

I was working for a family in St Fagans where I was looking after a cheeky little monkey from January 2017 until COVID happened in 2020, I miss him a lot as we had so much fun together! My work was to play with him in the house and in the garden or in a field and forest behind the house. I always made sure that he was happy! I am still in contact with the family and see then from time to time, if you are worried and have any questions you can call the mom and she will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

I also worked for a family in Barry with 2 years old twin boys I started in January 2017 when they were only 13 months old and stopped around mid 2018, my time there was mostly going to the park, playing in the house, putting them to bed, changing nappies, feeding them, etc...

In my last nannying job was during the whole of 2020, I was working for a family in Barry, the mum was a nurse doing 3x12 hours shifts per week, days or nights. The boys were 12 and 14 and my main job was to keep them off their Xbox and computer (obviously!). We went mostly on walks to the beach as it was the safest place to go during Covid. I also cooked and baked for them and helped keep the house clean and do the laundry.

My Qualifications

I have a French Baccalauréat and a youth work diploma.
I graduated and got my Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages and International Business.
I have a Master's in International logistics and supply chain management.

My Availability

I now work full time for a supply chain company but if you ever needed a babysitter, night nanny or weekend help, don't hesitate to contact me!

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Tutoring from £20.00 per hour

Nanny rates include fuel to drive the children around to do activities or school pick-up/drop-off.
