This is a review for Amanda, she has already been able to demonstrate to me that she has the qualities needed for a good babysitter.
I want to express my gratitude to her and to share my own positive experience of using her service.
Last week was the first time we met Amanda. I contacted her via this website during an emergency.
My husband was away and I had to help deal with a crisis away from home.
I needed a very short notice babysitter urgently, someone who would be experienced enough to deal with 3 young children, in a household that they had never visited before, and who didn't need to rely on a whole load of instructions beforehand from me.
Amanda turned up promptly, she had an extremely professional, confident manner, and without any fuss, intuitively took charge.
Amanda put my children at ease straight away, she is softly spoken and presents with a very mild-mannered demeanour.
Throughout the evening Amanda also sent me reassuring updates by text, reminding me that my children were in safe hands, and I was appreciative of that communication.
When I arrived home the children were tucked up in bed, and Amanda patiently took time to share with me how the evening went.
I want to thank Amanda for stepping in at the last minute, and for her exemplary conduct on this challenging day.
