About Me

Hi my name is Kayleigh and I am 24 years old. am currently working in a children's home but want to move away from this very challenging role!

I love working and looking after babies and small children and live watching them grow and develop in to little people! I have always had the knack with getting on with little people, maybe thats because of my own child hood experience. I was adopted and think all children should have the right to thrive!

I am a fun, loving person, firm but fair. I believe having a positive attitude is the key to a good relationship with children and young people!

I like to cook and like making new things, I am a vegetarian but I do t mind cooking meat as I do for my partner at home.

I like the countryside and visiting and exploring new places.

My Experience

I have had 3 years working in a nursery, this include working in the baby room and also pre-School children. Because of my nursery experience I have good knowledge in creating age appropriate activities and live getting messy with the children!

I have had just over a year experience in working in a children's home, this job is very challenging and I have to deal with challenging behaviours on a day to day basis whilst caring for the children.

My Qualifications

I have got NVQ level 2 & 3 in children and young people's services.

I have a crb

I have a first aid certificate

My Availability
