About Me
My name is Nicky and i'm married with two children - Millie who is 12 and Oliver who is 7. My home is a loving safe environment filled with many toys! I love being arty and also cooking and baking, and so I try to include this into our weekly timetable to get the children involved. We visit the library and toddler playgroups weekly, and often venture off for walks in the woods or visit the local farm or swing park. I have a lovely garden that has swings, slide and a trampoline, plus a mud kitchen and several activity play tables. I live just a five minute walk to Bexleyheath Station, and a ten minute walk to Brampton Primary School. Children's well-being and happiness is my priority. They love spending time here, and often don't want to go home! I was rated 'Good' at my last Ofsted inspection, and you can read this online using their simple search function.
My Experience
Before I qualified as a childminder I previously worked as a volunteer at a local nursery, working with children aged from 1 - 4 years, and I also volunteered at my children's primary school to go in and listen to the children read and help them with their phonics.
I have a CACHE Level 3 in childcare, and an up to date Peadiatric First Aid certificate and both my husband and I have enhanced DBS (police check) certificates. I have gained extra training in Safeguarding Children, and have been given the highest score from Environmental Health for my Food Preparation knowledge and Hygiene. I regularly attend courses to stay up to date and further my knowledge so that i can offer the children the very best care.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
Normal working hours are between 8:00am - 6pm, and i charge £55 a day. Tax Free Childcare is accepted as well as funded children. Less hours can be discussed.

Nicky looked after my son for just over 2 years (age 1 to 3) until he started nursery. My husband and I were really impressed with all of the creative activities he was immersed in including art and baking and regular trips to toddler groups (pre Covid), the farm, parks etc. My son formed great bonds with Nicky, her children and husband and it's clear that he really enjoyed his time in her care.

Nicky has looked after my youngest (age 3-4) for the past year and a half. She is brilliant with her and she always does lovely activities and trips out. Tania has been very happy and runs in with excitement. I’d highly recommend Nicky she has always been professional and caring.
