I am a very fun, creative & outgoing person, currently looking for extra work. I am not afraid to get all mucky. I am basically a big child myself. I do things with the children like racing, painting, go on day trips to museums etc. I have been known to be silly with having contests with the children like who can eat 3 crackers in under a minute, who can stuff the most amount of marshmallows is your mouth & many more. I love singing & dancing, arts & crafts, playing games like hide & seek, board games, treasure hunts, musical games & many many more. I also have games which are educational too not just for silly fun, I do memory games, story making, I play shop keepers with them so they learn the maths tasks of daily life but I always intend to keep them entertained. When I go on trips to museums I do quizzes with the children so they learn more rather than just going to the museum looking around and reading.

Nursery Assistant: 18th April 2016 - October 2016
I currently work at Buffer Bear Nursery in Waterloo which is apart of The Cooperative Childcare department. I work with children from the age of 3months - 5years. During my day of work I interact with the children by playing with toys with them, running, climbing, dancing, singing etc. I help them learn/do their daily routines such as tidying up, serving their own food, washing hands before & after breakfast, lunch & tea times. I'm always making sure that I push the children to achieve their abilities to the maximum & to succeed in their development. I always ensure the children are happy, healthy, safe & having as much fun as possible.
Babysitting: September 2012 - Present
I have multiple experiences of childminding children of all ages, from newborn upwards. This can be for a single child or a group for either a couple of hours or overnight. On the job I interact with the children, change nappies, feed the baby when they are due a feed, the other children are fed before I get there however I do cook if I am needed to. I also help the children if homework if need be & I make sure the children feel safe, confident, happy and relaxed.

I have worked at Alphabet Nursery School every Monday’s and Tuesday’s also as part of my Childcare Level 2 college course. During work hours I interact with the children (for example reading books to them, playing with building blocks, colouring etc), clear up if necessary, and help the children with their maths or literacy work when needed. I make sure the children feel safe, confident, happy and relaxed.

I have worked at Lavender Hill Day Nursery every Monday’s and Tuesday’s as part of my Childcare Level 2 college course. I have worked in the baby room, toddler room and nursery room to extend my experiences. During work hours I interact with the children, clear up if necessary, prepare the beds for nap time, put the children to sleep by patting their back, and feed the children if they need help. I make sure the children feel safe, confident, happy and relaxed.
