My son has been going to Charlottes current childminder since he was 6 months old - (he's now 2 1/2). She's always warm, kind, friendly and welcoming and I know Peter loves spending time with her. He always talks about Char Char!
They do a wide range of interesting activities from painting, treasure hunts, gym classes, singing classes etc.
She will be missed but I wish her lots of luck on her new venture which I'm sure will be very successful.

Our son spent 3.5 years with Jayne. His first session was shortly after his first birthday. He settled very easily, which we believe was in a large part due to the home from home setting that Jayne and her team provide. Jayne is so warm, caring and loving that it's like taking your child to spend the day with a family member.
Jayne also provides an incredible range of activities for the children, from theatre trips to fruit picking and visits to the zoo. We felt that she offered our son a more varied experience than he would have received at a typical nursery.
Jayne encouraged the children to share and be kind to each other, and our son has formed amazing friendships over the course of the last few years (we've met some lovely parents too).
She kept us updated on Peter's activities via Tapestry and was on hand to offer advice if every we needed it. We can't recommend Highgate Childminders highly enough if you are looking for a childcare solution that has a personal touch.
