About Me
I am a hard working individual who manages my time well. I finished university last year studying Sociology and Criminology as a Dual Honors and I am keen to gain more experience caring for individuals, whether it be young or old.
I currently work in a care home for vulnerable children and I am undertaking medication training.
I am looking for something to replace my current job or to do along side it.
I have no qualifications in childcare however have been a after school nanny for over 2 years prior to Covid (can provide references) and currently look after children in my current job.
I would also be interested in helping with school work or tutoring.
My Experience
I did 1 weeks work experience at Springfield's first school. This involved helping within the younger classes. I enjoyed this so much that I applied to volunteer there for 4 weeks after my school year had ended.
I am 23 years old and have been a frequent babysitter. I currently look after 2 girls aged 9 and 13 after school twice a week, this is something I have done for almost 2 years. References can be supplied if needed.
My work experience also includes being a carer/support worker for individuals with mental health problems and disabilities for almost a year.
My Qualifications
I have my GCSE grades, which is 2 A grades, 5 B grades and 3 C grades. I also did A-levels of sociology, English language and geography. I would be happy to help with any homework. I Have certificates of participation in the buddy scheme at sixth form. I am also a girl guide leader in training, hoping to qualify for my full leader certificate this year. This is something I have been doing since 2014.
I have no childcare related qualifications, however I do have a lot of experience through family, babysitting in general, being a carer and a girl guide leader.
My Availability
I am currently work 2 on 4 off but would be happy to replace my job if full time care was needed.
