About Me
I am a Mum to two young children (2 and 4 years old). I have been married since 2009 and we moved to Kelty in August 2014 and are really enjoying everything that Fife has to offer. As a family we love the outdoors, going for picnics and walks. I love sports, especially netball, hockey and swimming :)
My Experience
I am a Primary Teacher by profession but I have also spent many years teaching sailing to youth groups as well as working as a Nanny for several years. I have been heavily involved in Scouting for over 10 years and I have always loved working with children of all ages and helping them to develop socially, emotionally and academically.
I hold a Paediatric First Aid Certificate (valid until May 2022) and I have completed a Distance Learning course with the Scottish Childminding Association (SCMA), the only association in Scotland dedicated to supporting childminders which helps me keep up-to-date on all relevant changes in legislation and policy relating to my business. I also attend several toddler groups where I meet with other childminders to share ideas and good practice and I look forward to attending as many courses as possible to further develop my skills and knowledge base.
I am working toward gaining an SVQ3 Children and Young People.

My Availability
I run my service in the week days from 7am-6pm but I can be flexible if care is needed outside of these times.

I do not have set fees as fees may vary depending on the number of days/hours of care you will need for your child or if you have more than one child requiring care. I am happy to discuss this when we arrange a first meeting.
