My Summary

My Experience

I babysit many children in my local area (including those with additional needs) and have done so for several years, allowing me to build up relationships with the families and really get to know the children.

I have volunteered throughout the last year as a classroom assistant in a year 3 class (age 7-8). This involved me teaching small groups of children, providing one-to-one support during lessons and assisting with school trips. I recently accompanied the year group on a residential trip where I was in charge of a dormitory of 15 children (for many of the children, this was their first night away from home).

I have volunteered for 18 months as a playworker for children with a range of disabilities and medical conditions. I was in charge of feeding, providing personal care, playing with and ensuring the safety of a group of children with often complex needs.

I have also volunteered for 3 months in a children's hospice.

For two years I was a St. John Ambulance Cadet, learning a variety of first aid skills and teaching them to the public.

My Availability

I am available most evenings (including weekends) and occasionally during the day. I am happy to babysit overnight.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £7.00 per hour

I charge £7.00 per hour for one child, increasing by 50p per hour for each additional child.
