About Me
Hello, my name is Jane.
Please consider me when searching for the right childminder for you and your child/children. I am SMCA/CARE INSPECTORATE trained and registered and have been minding Children of all ages for many years. I am a Mum and a Granny and very 'hands on' Auntie.
I am available for school drop off and collection which includes, where possible, the child's clubs/activities after school.

My HAPPY DAY CARE offers a safe, happy and stimulating environment where your child's opinion, hopes and concerns are respected.
All activities at Happy Day Care are agreed with the children (depending on age and stage of development)
I am keen to promote outdoor activities and being based in Finnieston is ideal - we have many trips to local places of interest and various local play parks/children's wood/community garden/ local playgroups, libraries and sports at Kelvin Hall.
Finnieston is also well situated for the commuter - drop off and collection
I encourage parent/carers suggestions on how to develop my service via on the spot communication, through their Childs observation diary or the service evaluation
I offer flexible hours and affordable rates
I am registered with Food and Hygiene GCC to provide nutritious snacks
I am fully qualified in fire marshal and first aid - St John Ambulance
I promote a praise culture and active, fun, play and learn

My first formal Care Inspectorate inspection of my service was carried out in December 2017. I received Grade 5 (very good) for my play, care and support of the children. Grade 4 (Good) for.my business skills and I also received a grade 4 for my environment.
I am very pleased with the inspection out come, a copy of which is available on request.

I am SMCA/CARE INSPECTORATE trained and registered and have been minding children of all ages for many years. I have attended many child relevant courses to ensure I am up to date with all legislation and The National Care Standard best practice, such as - SMCA Foundations, child protection, active play and learn, building self esteem in children etc. All my certificates are available for you to consider. My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
£5.50 per hour - This includes, snacks, treats, light breakfast, light lunch, light dinner, trips to places of interest and fun, new toys/books/dvd's. Parent can provide child's own food/toys/books/dvd's if preferred.
£6 for after school collection including snack and treat . Parent can provide child's own food if late pick up or I can supply a light meal at no extra cost.
If possible, I am available and pleased to take children to their regular clubs. I also, if permitted, attempt to attend the children's special school/nursery days i.e. nativity plays.
