About Me
Hello my name is joanne and i am a registered childminder. I live with my husband and 2 sons aged 19 and 13 years.
I am a qualified level 4 nursery nurse with over 25 years experience in childcare, i have also had experience with special needs children.
I have been a registered childminder for the past 13 years and cannot believe i didnt do this years ago!
I offer a warm, loving, fun home, in which i want everybody to feel at home and each child will be treated as an individual, will be loved cared for and have lots of fun! I was graded OUTSTANDING in my inspection Feb 19, which I’m extremely proud of!
I offer a healthy varied diet and special diets can be catered for.
I like to see children learning through play and offer many activities throughout the day such as, baking,messy play, creative, role play, music,books. The list is endless as is the resources i have. We also like to take trips out to local places such as parks, playgroups and softplay areas, we also have planned trips out to parks,zoos etc.
I love nothing more to see a child who is comfortable,happy and content who cannot wait untli the next time they come to play again!!

My Experience
I am a qualified N.V.Q level 4 nursery nurse with over 22 years experience. My previous job before childminding was a roll as a manager at a private childrens day nursery, which i loved but after having my second child felt it was time for a change.
I have experience of working with children with special needs and was the special educational needs co-ordinator at my last position.

My Availability
I am available mon-fri 7.30 -5.30 47 weeks of the year. I offer both full and part time sessions. I can be flexible with times to suit, just ask.
