Hello I'm Bethanie. I am a
chatty, bubbly person who has a passion for caring for children, watching them grow and develop.
My interests include going outside for walks, looking after my pet fish and rabbit, spending lots of time with my friends and family, reading, swimming and going out to eat or drink.
I'm looking for an after school nanny role or evening babysitting that is consistent.
When I’ve nannied in the past I’ve been let down by some families so am looking for the right family who I can be a part of.
I currently work Tues to Thurs in a day nursery.
I am currently looking for part time nanny role, I would also be happy with a nanny/housekeeper or as a nanny share with two families children.
I’ve worked with children for nearly 10years in that time I have been a sole charge nanny to various families with children as young as 4 weeks old up to school age. I have also worked within various of private day nurseries from children aged 3 months to 5 years. And I have worked in 2 primary schools which I’ve done since June 2023 to Recently in December 2023. Unfortunately they had budgeting issues therefore could not afford to keep me on longer.
I am reliable, organised and love having fun! I especially love crafting with children and getting messy. I feel it is important for children to learn at their own pace and that learning should be fun!
I am the eldest of 4 children and there’s a large age gap between me and my 2 younger sisters and I helped care for them since they were newborn.
I own and drive my own car. I have a manual car with a full licence
I have a up to date paediatric first aid training, I hold a level 3 qualification in Childcare and I’m on the DBS update service
I would also be willing to register with Ofsted
My Experience
I have worked with children since Feb 2014. I started in nursery settings. I have worked in toddler rooms, preschool and babies. Within the nurseries I have also cared for twins.
I have also volunteered at a summer club looking after children under 4yrs.
I also have 18 months experience working with children under 5 with autism and other learning difficulties.
I have also had 4 sole charge nanny roles since March 2018. Caring for children aged 4weeks twins, 9months, 3years and 5years. As part of my role I did school and nursery runs. I prepared meals and fed the children. I did various indoor activities as well as taking them out to the park etc. I also drove one child to their various activities. And of course did bottles and nap routines for the younger children.

I’m available Monday from 5pm and all day Friday and can do the occasional weekday evening

My Fees

I charge between £10 per hour
