Hi! I’m Melissa I am a qualified nursery nurse/ sole charge nanny.
I am a fun, creative and caring person.
working with children has been my passion since I left school.
I enjoy being part of a child's rdevelopment and learning journey as well as building great relationships with parents.
As a nanny I enjoy arranging play
dates, trips to museums and libraries. Art and story time are just a few of the activities I love to do with the children.
I plan age appropriate activities and prep children for their journey into school by practising phonics, writing and basic numeracy and literacy.
I would describe my nannying style as fun, energetic and enthusiastic. I enjoy engaging in the activities myself and not afraid to dive into pretend play because who doesn't want to dress up as a fairy or pretend to be a pirate?!
I hope I can be a great influence to the children in my care and build lovely relationships with the family.
I have all relevant qualifications and first aid is up to date.

I have experience working for Asquith and Bright horizons day nursery as a key worker.
I’ve worked in a Montessori school and very familiar with the Montessori approach.
I’ve worked as a learning support assistant in a local school primary school for children with autism and special educational needs.
I’ve done private babysitting and have now moved on to being a sole charge nanny, which I love very much!
