About Me
I am looking to secure a full time role as a nanny with a lovely family. I am located in Ashtead but willing to travel as have my own car.
My background is based in care work but I am currently in a position temporarily for a family with two young boys aged 5 months and 2 years. Also ad hoc for a young boy with cerebral palsy.
I find the care of children rewarding and enjoy creating fun and stimulating learning environments both inside and outside the home.
I am a calm and easy going person yet know how to set boundaries and follow family routines and discipline rules. My nature is kind, caring, and bubbly yet fair. I look at myself as extremely flexible, I can adapt to changing situations and environments when needed.
My Experience
I have many different experiences with children ranging from birth to preteens. I looked after my nephew full time from 3 months, he is now 2 years old. I have also babysat for local parents, friends and family since I was 16 years old.
During my time at college I took part in the care of individuals from a variety of different settings where I had the opportunity to work with mainstream children as well as SEN children.
I also completed a placement in the baby room of a nursery working with children from as young as 6 months.
My Qualifications
GCSEs:
* Maths – C, English – C, Science – C, Childcare – PASS, Catering – B, Art – C
Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 3: * Triple distinction
First aid trained
My Availability
I am available Monday - Friday and of course occasional weekends to give parents a much needed break when things return to normal from COVID!
