About Me
I would like to welcome you to Linnet’s Daycare. I live with my husband Stuart and 3 Children, George 22, Joe 18 and Elizabeth 13. We also have a family pet Dog Scrappy. We have lived here for 19 years and I have grown up in this street all of my life.
My Experience
I have been childminding for over 18 years and have experience with children from age 0 Months to 22 years old.
I decided to go into Childminding when I had my second son and needed to be at home more as he needed a lot of hospital treatment, after completing all my courses I became registered and have completed my NVQ Level 3 in Early Years & Education. I have also worked in a school looking after SEN Children. I take regular courses and am always upto date with First Aid, Safeguarding etc…….
I have worked with so many families over the last 16 years and feel very passionate about my work, and very rewarding. I have a great understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage to teach them and help them grow into happy confident children, in a safe and caring environment.
I have recently taken on my husband as an assistant, we started working together in September 2015. He has completed his First Aid & Safeguarding course.
