What a fantastic find Jayne is! We simply cannot fault Jayne and her team at Highgate Childminders! How happy we are to have found such a warm, friendly and encouraging environment for our children. Our eldest was just 7 months when she started a half-day a week, I looked at numerous local nurseries and Highgate Childminders was the only place I felt truly comfortable with. It felt like we were leaving our daughter with a grandparent (which we would have liked to do if they didn't all live in Devon!) and we called Jayne "Granny Jayne", and it is this loving, caring place that our now 2 children have been attending for the last 2.5 years.
The whole team are truly incredible, they have a genuine affection for the children and our children have really developed in this nurturing and caring atmosphere. The activities are lovely - from taking the children to the Transport Museum on the tube to frequent visits to London Zoo, from strawberry picking in the summer to Halloween parties in the autumn, from growing butterflies from caterpillars in the garden to baking and cooking, from taking the children to plays and also additional activities lile tennis and Zip Zap. With the team that Jayne has it is between a Childminder and Nursery, all in a beautiful homely setting with a gorgeous garden. We could not have asked for a better place for our children to start off their early years. They have formed friendships with all the other little children and the parents are also friends and regularly get together - and we all rave about Jayne and how lucky we are to have found such an incredible, magical place for our children! We simply cannot recommend Jayne and her team highly enough!
