About Me
Hi I'm a 50yr old mum of 3 (2 girls 21 & 19, 1 boy 15). I began as a nursery nurse in 1991 then started nannying in 1993. Alongside various positions, I ran Under 5s Jives preschool music and movement classes, sold childrens' books and ran children’s bespoke birthday parties. I worked in childcare - adjoc temporary nanny positions while my children were younger and continued my music classes until 2016. Then I also started working in hospitality in 2012, part time waitressing and bar work. I eventually went full time as a restaurant shift manager, and cafe assistant manager. Most recently, my husband and I now run a micropub parttime hours. This is flexible timings so I can fit in around it. My mornings are often free as we are open from 3pm and I really do miss being around young children. I do like variety.
I am a fun and friendly, busy, creative, person who loves to entertain, play games, make things etc. and I have a sensitive and caring personality. I have experience with newborn through to stroppy teens. Thanks for reading. X
My Experience
I'm a qualified nursery nurse, and qualified Montessori teacher.
I have worked with children from 1991. Ages from newborn (3mths) - 12yrs and have also had my own 3.
I worked as a nursery teaching assistant and I ran my own preschool music and movement classes for many years (aswell as running children's parties) and the local toddler group. I like to have fun whilst learning and am a very practical person.
My Qualifications
9 GCSEs
Btec National Diploma in Business and finance with travel and tourism.
London Montessori International Diploma
Preschool play school Diploma (equal to NNEB).
Various day training inc Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, Basic Sing and Sign, First Aid.
Then several hospitality courses - food health and safety, food hygiene etc Personal Licence
My Availability
A few mornings or 1-2 days would be wonderful. I ideally would love a term time only position, but if the right job came along then school holidays would be fun and would be fine.

I have a lot of experience with children of all ages so I believe I am asking a fair amount in line with this.
