About Me
Hi my name is Kelsey, I am a young mother myself with a 2 year old little boy (Hugo) and we live in the Dover, Kent area. I have now been working as a Nanny/Babysitter for the last 4 years after I started attending college studying the Level 3 Early Years Educator course. When I was little I always dreamt of becoming a Norland Nanny so started with all the steps I needed to be able to get there. However, when I was ready to apply for a place I fell pregnant with my little boy so life has taken me on a different road, but that has never stopped me from having the same passion of seeing children develop and grow within my care. We love to take part in lots of different activities and we really enjoy being outdoors. Your child will always have something exciting and different to do while being with myself & Hugo, that could include trips to the park, zoo, beach or sofa play centre.
I am DBS Checked, First Aid Trained and a Fully Qualified Level 3 Early Years Educator. I do also hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have my own car. My contact number isf you would like to contact me for anymore information or to speak about my availablity.
My Experience
* College Placement (2 Years) working with children between the age of 0-5 years two days a week at different local nurseries. 2015-2017
* I worked for a family with two children 2016-2018 this included school drop off and pick ups, during the day on weekends and school holidays when needed.
* I worked for a family looking after a baby in 2019 for a few months before they attended Nursey, this would consist of at least 5 hours a day, and a few days a week.
* I worked for a family with two children in 2019 for a few weeks while their parents where on intense work courses, this involved Nursery & School drop off and pick up, weekend work and very late evening work.
* Currently working with a family of two children since 2018 which involves school drop off and pick up, occasional weekend and some days during school holidays.
* Currently working with a family of two children since late 2019 which involves Nursery drop off in the mornings however this role is only once or twice a month.
* I am currently also involved in a family business, that being a Toddlers Football Class on Saturdays. This is children aging between 18 months & 3 years.
My Qualifications
Qualification of Level 3 Early Years Educator
Qualification in First Aid
I am DBS checked and hold a full UK driving license.
My Availability
Due to currently looking after children from two different families already I am no longer fully available. However, my work with these families are either on a week on/week off basis with the days each week on changing from time to time or being only once or twice a month I normally know in advance the dates I will be working. My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Nannying from £10.00 per hour (gross)
My fees for 2020 are the following;
£10 per hour if the childcare session is 2 hours or less.
£8 per hour if the childcare session is longer than 2 hours.
If the travel of my own car is needed there will be an extra charge of 50p per mile travelled. For example school drop off/pick up, dropping back home, after school clubs ect.
These charges will not be included in my fees if I picked any of our activities to be a distance away where travelling in the car is needed.
