About Me
Hi, I'm Natt! I am currently looking for evening babysitting / weekend nannying, something to work around my Masters studies. I am a regular babysitter / ad hoc nanny for 4 families in the Gloucestershire area (happy to give references). Before returning to University as a mature student, I had been in childcare for 14 years, 6 of which as a nanny in the UK, Australia and the Middle East.
I am 32 years old and I love to play sports especially Netball. I'm active, partaking in fitness kickboxing and salsa. I coach a girls football team for Cheltenham Ladies Football Club (age 5-8 years) and an adult netball team in the Gloucestershire League. I love to travel and have been fortunate enough, the last few years, to work and travel in places such as Australia, Europe, Oman (the Middle East) and South-East Asia. I hope to be able to do more of this in the future as I feel there is nothing better than meeting new people and experiencing new things. I love to read in my downtime. I also like to spend time with my family, especially my young, niece and nephews. I am from a big family of British and Jamaican origin.
My Experience
I have 14 years childcare experience, 6 of those as a nanny. I have spent 6 months in Australia as an au pair, a year in the Middle East working for a VIP family in Oman and for a family just outside of Cirencester. I worked for them for a year, ending my employment December 2018. Since then I have been a self-employed nanny, working for several families on a regular basis (school runs, weekend/school holiday nannying and babysitting) to fit around my degree.
I have worked within settings such as a school, holiday club, nursery, care unit, family homes and a gym crèche. The children I have worked with range from 3 months to 18 years and some of these children/young adults have presented with physical disabilities, autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour. I often babysit for several families in the Gloucestershire area. I completed a Level 1 football coaching badge back in college, due to complete a Level 2 in September for Netball and have completed many volunteering certificates. I have a full, clean UK driving licence and my own car.
My DBS check has just been re-newed this past October as I am a subscribed to the yearly renewal subscription.
