About Me
Babysitter often available on the day/last minute and happy to do late nights. On some occasions I can also offer over night care. In my day to day job I am the deputy manager at a well respected local day nursery in the Southcourt area.
I am a 30 year old, hard working, determined and fun loving character. I have been working with children for over 10 years now and I am very passionate about it! I love doing different things every day, giving children new experiences, teaching them new things and going for days out!
I loved studying everything about children and I regularly relate all of my practise to the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum that you find in day care settings.
I am qualified in childcare and health & social care. I am SEN qualified via local authority and have experience of being a designated safeguarding lead.
My Experience
I have quite a range of experience in the childcare sector:
-I have experience as a preschool leader and over 2s leader.
-I have experience as a special needs nanny.
-I have experience as an Early Years Manager for Ultimate Activity Camps.
-I have experience as a nanny for 2 children (ages 3 and 6).
-I have experience as a Room Leader of a Baby room at an Outstanding rated nursery as well as 2.5-3 years experience in the same nursery as a Nursery Nurse.
As well as this I have other minor experiences in a primary school setting and another nursery which I gained through college placements whilst studying.
My Qualifications
I have a variety of qualifications:
Currently studying a Childhood and Early Years degree with The Open University. Course ends 2024.
NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childcare
BTEC National Diploma in Health and Social Care
I also have 5 GCSE's A*-C grade (English, Maths, Science, Food Technology, Further Science).
