About Me
I am a energetic, dependable person who has chosen to follow a career in pastoral care. Now working in a residential setting I first cane to St Andrews to attend the University, studying History, and have since stayed to follow my interests in pastoral care for young people. A little bit about me, besides my love of history I am interested in music, playing both Clarinet and Piano, and have a love of travelling. Something you and your kids may find entertaining (I certainly do) is that I have an intense fear of frogs and toads. I have always loved working with children (much to the bemusement of my mother) and am about to start an MEd course in pastoral care.
My Experience
I have a variety of experience covering a range of age groups and contexts.
Formally I am currently employed as a Residential Tutor supervising teenagers, so I am used to helping with homework and other daily tasks, as well as organising trips and activities for after school and weekends. I have also previously worked at summer English language and Activity Residential Camps, working children from the age of 4.
I have also volunteered previously at my local Brownie Guides and a tutor in my last couple of years of university in English, Geography, History and Maths
