About Me
I’m a 39 year old female from Friern Barnet North London. I am positive, kind, reliable and trustworthy. I am a qualified Montessori teacher with 10 years experience. I am currently working full time in a Montessori nursery around North London and would be able to work evenings, weekends and school breaks only.
I believe it’s important to work in partnership with parents as this helps me to understand the needs of the child better and be able to meet those needs.
My Experience
I have experience working with children between 0-17 from being a full time nursery practitioner, being a mum to a 15year old, looking after my nieces and nephews from when they were babies and helping out church members with their children. These practical experiences with the children I work with, family members and friends’ children allows me to work very freely and comfortably with children.
I have some experience working with children with special needs.
I enjoy helping children learn and develop through fun ways; singing, reading, fun games, going to the parks, museums, playgroups and other fun outings.
My Qualifications
I have a first degree in psychology (1995-2000)
Full Diploma in Montessori training for Early Childhood in Montessori early child care (MCI, 2005-2007)
First Aid training
Thorough knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Various Early years trainings
DBS checked.
My Availability
I am available to work weekends, some week day evenings and school breaks.
