Currently looking for a part-time nanny position with a view to becoming a registered Childminder in 2019.
**Now accepting all Childminding enquiries**
I hope to be registered by Christmas 2019 - viewing welcome and waiting list currently applies!
As a mum of two young children, I totally understand that putting your children into the care of another may be one of the hardest things you've had to do, and a decision which shouldn't be taken lightly.
I'm driven to provide the highest quality care and your hourly rate includes everything your children need during their time with us* - nappies, wipes, meals, snacks and outings! No hidden charges.
I take inspiration from 10 years experience of working with children and my ethos is inspired by holistic approaches, Montessori and Forest School and I am currently employed to specialise in early language development for ages 0-3. A background in freelance Therapeutic Arts has set me up with a childcare practice which is creative, fun, nurturing and as child-led as possible. This may mean busy days and often with lots of mess but I absolutely love it! We have friendly pets at home and exciting plans to introduce eggs and chicks later next year!
We're a down to earth family who have also struggled to find childcare in the past that ticks all the boxes, this means I'm ready to be entirely flexible for shift workers, including evenings and weekends - especially due to our proximity to the Royal Gwent Hospital. We're perfectly situated near to Junction 28 of the M4, meaning easy access to Newport, Cardiff and Caerphilly. With Belle Vue Park, Tredegar Park and Tredegar House all within walking distance, we're spoilt for choice when it comes to puddle jumping, summer picnics and woodland walks.
Don't hesitate to contact as places are limited. I know from my own experience that childcare is sparse in our surrounding area! Any questions and viewings welcome.
Check out my other project for a little more info about me, our parties and half-term events - search online for Unravel Parties!
*Specialised/medicated wipes, creams or foods to be supplied by parents/carers.
Alongside my own two children aged 4 years and 9 months, I also have ten years working with children in professional employment and five years experience caring for children in their own home as a nanny. These roles include a diverse range of children from all over Newport, Usk and Cardiff, including children and young people with physical disabilities and social difficulties. I'm always interested in gaining insight into inclusive practice.
