Qualified OFSTED registered nanny with over 20 years experience caring for babies and children of all ages . I love my role working with children and couldn't imagine myself doing anything else.
I live in Queensbury with my husband am happy to work in Halifax, Huddersfield, Leeds, Ilkley, Bradford or Skipton.
Currently work in leeds looking after a toddler. We enjoy going to local parks and groups. My time has been dedicated to helping the very shy toddler to develop social skills and interact with other children after spending her whole life under covid rules. Her confidence is growing rapidly potty training compleat.
Previously worked ILKLEY with 4 year old twins and a 6 year old. I have been working with this family since 5 weeks before twins arrived and will be sadly leaving when they start school.
My typical daily routine would involve having lots of fun. Washing dressing, cooking meals, play groups, tumble tots or baby ballet, trips to the park and playing educational stimulating games with the children. Attending medical appointments doing school runs and after school activates. I am happy to do babysitting or care for children on over night babies if parents away on holiday or business.
My Experience
Newborn , toddlers and teenagers. My experience includes working with newborn twins twice , triplets, prem babies and children with special needs as a nanny. I also have experience working in a day nursery environment baby room, toddler room and over 2s room. Also helped at brownies and beavers.
I have worked for a number of doctors and fully understand the need for flexibiliy and reliability.

Dawn is very experienced in building relationships with children of all ages. She sets the tone upfront that she is here to help and get things done, she then builds friendships after gaining their respect.
Dawn is pleasant to have in the house and contributes in many helpful ways outside of core childcare-related duties.
Dawn quickly understands the children's routine and ensures that she is on top of their needs whether this is mealtimes/snack times, naps, clubs/activities, playtime or wind-down time. Our children fully trust Dawn and are not surprised to find her there when they wake up or when they are going to bed.
Dawn prides herself on her punctuality and reliability and we have never ever been disappointed in these aspects.
