About Me
I am a sensible and caring person, who believes that all children should feel safe and content. I love having a laugh with kids and sharing time with them after homework is finished, or while walking to the park. I am artistic and love to show kids how to draw and paint, play cards, cook, etc. I love to build things and have been known to help more than one child with school projects (!).
My Experience
I have been a nanny off and on, from the age of 19. I undertook a PGCE after gaining a degree in Childhood and Youth Studies, and while I decided that teaching in a formal setting was not for me, I still enjoy being with children, from the infant through the adolescent stage. I have also worked in primary schools and high schools, and I am able to help pupils with homework, up to GCSE level.
My Qualifications
Diploma in Health and Social Care
Childhood and Youth Studies (BA Hons)
Primary PGCE (2/3 units completed)
Electrician - Domestic Installer (City & Guilds)
My Availability
I am quite flexible but I'm presently only looking for part-time work. Ideally, I would like to work three or four days a week and I would like to stay as close to Frome as possible.
