My Experience
Whilst in Sixth form, I babysat for 3 children ( twins aged 6 and a 3 year old) on evenings and weekends and thoroughly enjoyed it. Often help out with family friends children. Spent a month for last 2 years assisting with a family child-minding business in Ireland where we cared for around 10 children aged 6 months-10 years. Also took a gap year aged 18-19 working in a children's residential retreat centre in Staffordshire for children aged 8-18. Whilst i was studying for a degree in Biomedical Science, in Windsor, I had a part time job as a carer for the elderly and as a babysitter for 2 little girls. Sadly I'll had to leave these jobs as I moved back to Birmingham area in June 2019. In Summer 2019, I spent a month as an au pair for a spanish family in Madrid and looked after their 2 little boys. From 2020-2022 I have been a home help and babysitter for a family in Birmingham they have 5 children from age 6 months- 7 years old, I did this part time whilst studying for my masters. I now work in Peterborough City Hospital as a Physician Associate on the Oncology Ward. I have thoroughly enjoyed my childcare jobs and would still consider evening babysitting over the weekends.
My Qualifications
I have a clear DBS check, first aid qualifications and a full driving licence.
