About Me
Hello, my name is Amy and I’m 25. I am a primary school teacher with 3 years of experience. I went to the University of Winchester and spent the last 6 years in Hampshire. Now I’m back in Kent, I am looking for extra work to help fund my trip to Australia where I am hoping to travel and teach for a few years. I also have experience of sports coaching and love getting children engaged with the learning and just having fun.
My Experience
I nannied a girl aged 7 and a boy aged 3. I took them to and from school making them breakfast and dinner, getting them dressed and taking them to after school activities ie. Cubs.
I have been an evening babysitter since I was 14 for children aged 1 and above with various abilities.
I have had placements at multiple local primary and secondary schools as part of my teacher training. This involved teaching and providing support for children aged 5-13.
I have taught for 3 years at St Mary’s Junior School, Old Basing. We received an Outstanding Ofsted inspection 2 years ago. I taught year 4 where handwriting, times-tables and a love for reading were consistently encouraged.
My Qualifications
2:1 B.Ed. Primary Education 5-11 with QTS Enhanced DBS Checked
A B C at A Level (English Language, Classical Civilisation and Performing Arts)
9 A-C GCSEs including English and Maths
My Availability
Weekdays in August.
I will be supply teaching from September 4th to December 22nd but will prioritise local families for tutoring and babysitting services.

Amy is full of energy and laughter, always kind and understanding. She created an immediate bond with my 3 y.o., and has been his favourite person since they met.
