Description:
Gemma has been great I had seen a lot of nursery's and childminders previous but really liked the setting and what Gems Childminders offered. She has been accommodating and has regularly provided daily updates on events, feeding, sleeps and progress. When Bella has been unsettled she has always sent me a personal message about how she is which puts me at ease, If I text Gemma she always responds in a quick turn around . Bella has never been in a childcare setting and I was concerned about how she would be, but Gemma was professional, approachable, accommodating, understanding and hands on, when it came to Bella and her settling in sessions. Gemma has offered flexibility to me which has been very useful especially as I started a new job as a teacher. I really like to see the variety of things Bella does each week and particularly like how Gemma explores the outdoors , and the sensory activities that she incorporates such as the water beads, some of the photos are great and its clear that Bella loves going here. Bella's speech, development and understanding has progressed since she has started at Gems childminders and that is in part to the activities and learning that Gemma has planned and completed with her. I would recommend Gemma and the work that she does to anyone. This was a big transition for Bella and the whole family for that matter, and Gemma was supportive throughout!
She also has recently started picking up my little boy from the local school to, he also enjoys going there
